Upside Down Crab Bucket is a wellness center on a mission to provide a sense of support and safety for Jews, their allies, and the communities around them, to stop the defamation of the Jewish people, and to secure justice and fair treatment to all. To accomplish this, we provide educational courses, health and wellness services, and networking events for professionals, students, and the public at large. We’re striving to be a literal one-stop-shop for our clients’ mental, physical, and financial wellbeing. 

Our in-house Marketing Department has an opening for an Event & Community Coordinator out of our Philadelphia location.

Co-op Requirements & Responsibilities Include:

• 1+ year of study toward a degree in a related field, including Marketing, Journalism, or Business Communication

• Take initiative to find relevant prospective partnerships
• Coordinates with Co-Op team in Drexel and UPenn our co-op opportunities
• Coordinates student collaboration opportunities with instructors in Departments such as but not limited to Fashion & Merchandise, Product Design, and Film, to help boost these students’ careers
• Coordinating logistics, schedules, and any specific arrangements between the host and partnering companies
• Join your coordinated events to ensure they run smoothly
• Submit a daily report to the CEO to touch base
• Submit a detailed event recap form to share feedback

• Intention to make everyone feel comfortable, welcome, and included

The ideal candidate is an organized (or resourceful) self-starter and people-person. You are reliable, hands-on, accessible, and eager to learn. Very importantly, you have a strong understanding that selective humanity is wrong, and you are eager to deepen your understanding of the Israeli perspective to come to your own conclusions.
